Running Back – Destrehan

In 2011, Destrehan’s offense went as far as senior running back Kevin Smith could carry it. Smith, who also played defense, rushed for 808 yards on 137 attempts, which equates to 5.8 yards per carry. Smith also scored nine touchdowns for the Wildcats

Dereck Robinson

Defensive Lineman – Destrehan

Destrehan senior defensive tackle Dereck Robinson was his team’s primary run stopper, recording 64 solo tackles and nine assists. Robinson also got into the backfield on a regular basis, finishing the regular season with 23 tackles for loss and five sacks. He also caused four fumbles and recovered two.
