Destrehan receiver signs scholarship to Utah

Destrehan receiver Alfred Smith will suit up for the University of Utah in the fall.

Landry’s husband, Coy, was also instrumental in Smith’s success.

Smith was named to the 7-5A All-District second team after finishing the season with 42 catches for 563 yards and six touchdowns. Smith averaged 13.4 yards per catch.
