The St. Charles 8-year-old All-Star team captured a state championship – after going undefeated and winning their district championship tournament, the team made another undefeated run through the Babe Ruth League Machine Pitch Louisiana state tournament held June 20-23 at the St Charles West Bank Bridge Park. Reece Surmik was named tournament MVP and Aiden Thayer was awarded the championship game ball.
