The Hahnville Tigers wrestling team started the season with an outstanding performance at the Rebel Open in Pearl River, Miss.
The Tigers had seven wrestlers place in the event.
Team members are: Standing (L-R) Kenneth Howell, Tyler Matherne, Keller Stevens, Coach Joel Ramirez, Christian Sells, Jonathan Zeringue, Zack Lacaze, Mario Concepcion and Michael Knowles. Kneeling (L-R) are Caleb Michel (3rd in 220-pound division), Kendrick Jones (1st in 195-pound division), Blade Rager (1st in HWT), Hunter Dempster (2nd in 152-pound division), Aaron Cambre (1st in 132-pound division), Zack Lewis (1st in 120-pound division) and Nicholas Lirette (1st in 113-pound division).
