Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Arrests
• Tayeb Amiar, 38, of 2614 Longwood Drive in Metairie, was arrested June 29 and charged with possession of MDMA, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, misrepresentation during booking and resisting an officer. He was a fugitive with an attachment.
• Kayla Bourgeois, 26, of 535 Marino Drive in Norco, was arrested June 29 and charged with violation of stop sign, turning movement requires signal and possession of methamphetamine.
• Gabriel Bennett, 37, of 159 Shaw Street in Hahnville, was arrested June 30 and charged with illegal possession of stolen things, simple battery and resisting an officer. He had an attachment.
• Kerril Breaux, 31, of 228 Megan Street in Luling, was arrested June 30 and charged with possession of marijuana – third and subsequent offenses, suspended driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
