Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Arrests

• David Moore, 54, of 324 Mockingbird Street in St. Rose, was arrested June 12 and charged with theft of a motor vehicle/filing a false affidavit to support an alleged theft of a motor vehicle.

• Alfred Jones, 30, of 3108 Claiborne Ave. in New Orleans, was arrested June 12 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, no driver’s license on person, no insurance, registration required, speeding and transactions involving proceeds from CDS activity.

• Darrin Williams, 26, of 845 Hoover Street in New Sarpy, was arrested June 13 and charged with possession of marijuana-third and subsequent offense and disturbing the peace.

• Dwana Brown, 21, of 109 12th Street in Bridge City, was arrested June 11 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

• Darmyni Turnage, 18, of 608 Monticello Court in LaPlace, was arrested June 10 and charged with fraudulent firearm purchase.

• Lannoy Ellis, 30, of 1301 Midland Drive in Thibodaux, was arrested June 10 and charged with possession of a firearm by convicted felon, illegal carrying of a weapon in presence of CDS, possession of MDMA, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal use of CDS in presence of persons under 17 and transactions involving proceeds from CDS activity.

• Jarrod Dempster, 26, of 212 Matthew Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested June 9 and charged with domestic abuse battery with serious injury.

• Kevin Ohordorff, 39, of 37 Bonura Drive in St. Rose, was arrested June 9 and charged with possession of Schedule I and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was a fugitive (eight counts) and had an attachment (two counts).

• Roy Alexander, 40, of 133 Bethlehem Street in Hahnville, was arrested June 9 and charged with possession of marijuana – second offense, taking contraband to penal institution, possession of cocaine and obstruction of justice.

• Clarence Vinnett, 31, of 218 Ashton Oaks Lane in Luling, was arrested June 9 and charged with possession of a firearm by convicted felon, illegal carrying of weapon in presence of CDS, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated flight from an officer, illegal use of CDS in presence of persons under 17, distribution of crack cocaine (two counts) and possession of methamphetamine. He had an attachment.
