Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law
Arrests
• Kelly Myles, 31, of 802 Westend Drive in New Iberia, was arrested May 7 and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and simple battery.
• Emanuel Harris Jr., 49, of 146 Pitt Road in Boutte, was arrested May 7 and charged with theft by shoplifting (four counts).
• Shantel McDonald, 27, of 1547 Burton St. In Jackson, Miss., was arrested May 9 and charged with illegal possession of stolen firearm, turning movements requiring signals, possession of alcohol in motor vehicle, no license plate, possession of drug paraphernalia, legend drug imprint and possession of marijuana.
• Bijan Ebrahimpour, 28, of 228 Gum Bayou Lane in Kenner, was arrested May 9 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Schedule III. He was a fugitive.
• Stephen Castle, 35, of 2029 Delaware Ave. in Kenner, was arrested May 8 and charged with suspended driver’s license, possession of marijuana, careless operation and possession of suboxone.
