Arrests
• Nyjohn Simmons, 21, was arrested March 5 in Boutte and charged with reckless operation without accident and flight from an officer.
• Scott Billiot Jr., 31, was arrested March 5 in Covington and charged with residential contract fraud.
• Melissa Parks, 56, was arrested March 8 in Boutte and charged with domestic abuse battery – minor injury.
• Dominique Brown, 47, was arrested March 6 in Montz and charged with simple assault (two counts).
• Matthew McNamee, 30, was arrested March 6 in Boutte and charged with hit and run driving with no personal injury, operating a vehicle with a suspended license and following vehicles too closely.
• Arthur Rojas Jr., 66, was arrested March 7 in Destrehan and charged with domestic abuse battery – minor injury.
• Rudolph Dent was arrested March 6 in Killona and charged with criminal trespass, Peeping Tom and resisting an officer. He was a fugitive.
• Jordan Kirt, 29, was arrested March 7 in Luling and charged with domestic abuse battery – minor injury.
