Arrests

• Corey J. Pierre, 36, of 419 Boutte Estates Dr., Boutte, was arrested and charged with poss. with intent to dist. SCH II CDS to wit cocaine, resisting arrest by flight, resisting an officer, poss. of SCH I CDS to wit marijuana, SCSO attachment and a fugitive from Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office at the above address on June 16. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped for suspicious person and further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of cocaine and marijuana.

• Pernell Simmons, Jr., 33, of 1022 Paul Frederick Dr., Luling, was arrested and charged with poss. SCH II CDS to wit cocaine at Boutte Estates Dr., Boutte, on June 16.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped for suspicious persons and further investigation revealed the subject to be in poss. of cocaine.

• Sherri Borne, 43, of 26443 April Ln., Ponchatoula, was arrested and charged with forgery to acquire a CDS by forgery (8cts.), poss. of SCH II to wit Hydrocodone, poss. of SCH IV to wit Xanax, SCSO attachment at U.S. 61, Destrehan, on June 20.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after attempting to fill a forged prescription.  The subject was found to be in poss. of Somas, Hydrocodone, Percocet, Xanax and Valium.

• Meria Rowan, 37, of 827 Milling Ave., Luling, was arrested and charged with theft of goods at 13001 US 90, Boutte, on June 26.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after she allegedly stole items from a store at the above location.

• Kendra Kennedy, 24, of 1414 Paul Fredrick St., Luling, was arrested and charged with second degree battery and aggravated battery in the 1300 Blk. of Paul Fredrick St., Luling, on June 25.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after allegedly cutting a 19 year old victim by his right eye with a broken bottle.  As the victim’s brother attempted to stop the suspect she allegedly cut him on the back with a knife.  Both victims were treated at St. Charles Hospital for their injuries.

• Norvel Revader, 23, of 326 Lily St., Boutte, was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic burglary, aggravated burglary, second degree battery, resisting an officer, flight from an officer and a SCSO attachment at the above address on June 25.

• Christopher Coll, 46, of 1016 First St., Lot 10, Norco, was arrested and charged with obscenity at Nelson Coleman Correctional Center on June 22.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant issued on June 22, 2006 for the above charge.  On June 22, the above subject was allegedly observed walking completely nude in the middle of the Mary St., in Norco.  Coll is being held on a $40,000 bond set by Judge Chaisson.

Theft

• A concrete saw, a chop saw, and a sight level with tripod, valued together at $2900, was reported stolen from 107 W. James Dr., St. Rose, La., on June 20.

• A fire hydrant meter, valued at $868, was reported stolen from 281 Sugarland Parkway, Luling, on June 20.

• A 1994 Oldsmobile Cutless, valued at $2000, was reported stolen from 800 Ormond Blvd., Destrehan, on June 21.

• A Blue Steel 9mm semi-automatic pistol and a box of 9mm rounds, valued at $293, was reported stolen from 210 East Club Dr., St. Rose, on June 22.

• A boy’s bike, valued at $200, was reported stolen from 312 Murray Hill Dr., Destrehan, on June 22.

• Misc. carpentry tools, and a tool box, valued at $330, was reported stolen from 557 W. Hoover St., New Sarpy, on June 26.

• A Honda 4 wheeler, valued at $5,500, was reported stolen from 101 Lonestar Dr., Luling, on June 26.

• A CD player, a CB radio, a 10’ bass tube, a lug wrench, a binder, assorted clothing, and an air compressor, total value $735, was reported stolen from 900 Paul Fredrick St., Luling, on June 24.

• A boy’s BMX bike, valued at $300, was reported stolen from 3803 Tara Dr., Destrehan, on June 25.

• Two bikes, valued together at $230, were reported stolen from 38 Belle Grove Dr., Destrehan, on June 25.

• A GPS device, two base radios, an air tank, an air compressor, three car batteries, two geophone installation spoons, two voltage meters, two pipewrenches, two channel locks, a hacksaw, total value $2377, was reported stolen from Bayou Gauche Rd. and Badeaux, Paradis, on June 24.

DWI

• Toni Spence, 27, of 100 Chauvin St., Chauvin, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation, poss. of alcohol in motor vehicle, vehicle license required, suspended DL, and failure to provide proof of insurance at Stanton Hall Dr. and Ormond Blvd., on June 22.

• Angela Guthrie, 35, of 137 Murphy Ln., Des Allemands, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation and resisting arrest at LA 52 & Luling St., on June 24.

• Jackie Gilley, 56, of 1207 4th Ave., Atkins, Ark., was arrested and charged with DWI and hit and run at LA 3127, Killona, on June 23.

• Arthur Campbell, 38, of 500 Kinler St., Luling, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless operation at LA 18 & Avalon on June 23.

• Michael S. Lewis, 44, of 27 Ridgefield Dr., Metairie, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless operation at I-10 Eastbound on June 25.
