Sheriff Reports 6-21-2006

Arrests

• Tracy Williams, 21, of 270 Magnolia Ridge, Boutte, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use an access device at Nelson Correctional Center on June 13. Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after allegedly illegally utilizing a debit card.

• Kimberly Conley, 36, of 1021 Talbot Ave., Thibodaux, was arrested and charged with poss. of a SCH I narcotic (marijuana), poss. of a SCH II narcotic (crack cocaine), poss of SCH IV narcotic (Alprazolam), introducing contraband into correctional facility and a SCSO attachment at 13517 Hwy. 90, Boutte, on June 10.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was stopped for suspicious vehicle.  Further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of marijuana, crack cocaine, Alprazolam, and drug paraphernalia.

• Ralph Falcon, 55, of 17 Bonura Dr., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with poss. of SCH II CDS to wit crack cocaine and poss. of drug paraphernalia at the above address on June 14.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after officer’s were dispatched to the above location on a separate incident.  Further investigation revealed that subject to be in possession of crack cocaine.
• Darryl Jones, 52, of 827 Milling Ave., Luling, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery at the above address on June 15.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested following an altercation with a victim.  The subject allegedly stated to the victim that he would shoot her and chop her up.

• Tharence White, 41, of 108 Jims Rd., Boutte, was arrested and charged with theft of goods at Sharon St. at Willow, Boutte, on June 15.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested after she allegedly stole items from a Family Dollar Store.

• David Prieskop, 19, of 321 Woodland Dr., Boutte, was arrested and charged with simple cruelty to animals at the above address on June 16.

• Christopher C. Brown, 24, of 136 David Ct., Luling, was arrested and charged with 2nd degree battery at 806 Paul Fredrick St., Luling, on June 18.  Sheriff Champagne reports that the above subject was arrested on a warrant that was issued on June 29, 2005 for the above charge.  On June 25, 2005 the above subject was involved in an altercation with a 28 year old Luling woman.  During the altercation the subject allegedly punched the victim in the face causing a large gash on her face.  The victim was treated at St. Charles Hospital for her injuries.

• Lacey M. Breaux, 18, of 300 River Ridge Dr., Boutte, was arrested and charged with simple cruelty to animals and criminal mischief at U.S. 90, Boutte, on June 18.

• Toney Thibodeaux, Jr., 25, of 215 Carlon Dr., Des Allemands, was arrested and charged with simple cruelty to animals and criminal mischief at U.S. 90, Boutte, on June 18.

Theft

• An amplifier, stereo, and two sub woofers, valued together at $1525, were reported stolen out of a vehicle from 1 Summerton Dr., St. Rose, on June 11.

• A 6.4’ car TV and assorted CD’s, valued at $800, was reported stolen out of a vehicle at 20 Jasmine Ln., St. Rose, on June 11.

• Two CD cases containing assorted CDs, assorted DVDs, and a portable DVD player, valued together at $350, was reported stolen from a vehicle at 213 Williams St., Boutte, on June 12.

• An Aquaglass bathtub, valued at $2,000, was reported stolen from 674 Evangeline Rd., Montz, on June 12.

• A 1998 14ft. aluminum flatboat and a 25 HP Outboard Motor, valued at $3500, was reported stolen from 4003 LA 306 Bayou Gauche, on June 12.

• A CD player, valued at $350, was reported stolen out of a vehicle at 4 Tulip Ln., St. Rose, on June 12.

• A Playstation, assorted Playstation Games, and assorted DVD’s, valued at $430, were reported stolen from 71 A Carriage Ln., Destrehan, on June 9.

• A radar detector and a laptop computer, valued at $1545, was reported stolen from 107 C Maryland Dr., Luling, on June 14.

• A mountain bike, valued at $100, was reported stolen from 113 Evans St., Boutte, on June 14.

• Assorted VCR tapes, valued at $100, was reported stolen from 613 Giacomo St., Norco, on June 14.

• An X-Box game, a digital camera, a computer CPU, a wallet, a CD case, misc. compact discs, valued together at $1,994, was reported stolen from 71 Carriage Ln., Destrehan, on June 15.

• A metal tool box containing assorted tools and a chain, valued at $900, was reported stolen from 159 Boutte Estates Dr., Boutte, on June 16.

• A 16’ tire and rim, valued at $425, was reported stolen off a vehicle at 101 Delta Dr., St. Rose, on June 16.

• A 21’ rotary mower, a blower, chain saw and a speaker box containing two speakers, valued at $824, was reported stolen from 280 Meadows Dr., Destrehan, on June 16.

• A 24’ chrome bike, valued at $150, was reported stolen from 222 Post St., Killona, on June 16.

• A surround sound system, a window fan, baby bank, and assorted food, valued together at $140, was reported stolen from 113 Evans St., Boutte, on June 18.

DWI

• Mark Murphy, 46, of 228 St. Jude St., Destrehan, was arrested and charged with DWI, hit and run, and reckless driving at LA 48 and Ormond Blvd., Destrehan, on June 17.

• Darrell Gomes, 47, of 243 Diane Dr., St. Rose, was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless operation and hit and run driving (2 cts.) at St. Rose Ave., St. Rose, on June 16.
