James B. Larche, 25, 353 Linwood Dr., LaPlace, was arrested April 1 and charged with D.W.I.
Theft
A Men’s gold ring, a battery starter, and assorted U.S. currency of an undetermined value was stolen March 29 from 201 W. Oakland Dr., St. Rose.
A CD player valued at $100 was stolen March 30 from 331 Trailsway Dr., Hahnville.
Assorted jewelry valued at $1,400 was stolen March 31 from 108 St. John St., Luling.
A Mongoose bicycle valued at $100 was stolen March 31 from 23 Bocage Dr., Destrehan.
A shotgun, a television, a VCR and a Nintendo game system valued at $450 were stolen March 31 from 210 Kirk St., Paradis.
A lawn mower valued at $150 was stolen March 31 from 102 Oak St., St. Rose.
Four tires and rims valued at $1,400 were stolen April 2 from 183 South Kinler St., Boutte.
Arrests
William Butler, 50, of 117 Dove St., LaPlace, was arrested March 29 and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Teresa D. Simmons, 46, of, 1705 Ridgefield, LaPlace, was arrested March 29 and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Byron A. Kohoutek, 44, of, 1705 Ridgefield, LaPlace, was arrested March 29 and charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
