Arrests

•Juvenile, 16, of Destrehan was arrested on Dec. 28 and charged with two counts of simple burglary.

•David Thomas Jr., 20, of 3036 Essex Ave. in LaPlace was arrested on Jan. 8 and charged with intent to distribute marijuana, resisting arrest, battery on a police officer and for being a fugitive from St. John Parish.

•Antoine Joseph, 47, of 845 E. Hoover St. in New Sarpy was arrested on Jan. 8 and charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Alicia R. Magee, 28, of 443 Pine St. in Norco was arrested on Jan. 8 and charged with theft over $500 and as a fugitive from Jefferson Parish.

•Porfirio O. Vasquez, 29, of 128 Montegue Ave. in LaPlace was arrested on Jan. 8 and charged with DWI, reckless operation and operating a vehicle without legal presence.

•Thomas Voisin, 39, of 147 Silver Creek Dr. in Gray was arrested on Jan. 13 and charged with DWI.

•Landon Parker, 21, of 5731 Greenshire Ave. in Baton Rouge was arrested on Jan. 12 and charged with DWI and reckless operation.

•Anthony Carter, 45, of 209 Nottoway Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on Jan. 11 and charged with DWI and reckless operation.

•Robert Blackwell, 48, of 696 Grand Bayou Road in Des Allemands was arrested on Jan. 13 and charged with DWI (second offense), careless operation and improper lane use.

•Mark Boatwright, 44, of 113 Matherne Dr. in Des Allemands was arrested on Jan. 12 and charged with DWI and speeding.

•Larry W. Shelbia, 48, was arrested on Jan. 11 and charged with DWI.

•Robert Poole, 36, of 53 Dialita Dr. in Avondale was arrested on Jan. 11 and charged with theft of goods $100 to $499.

•Tammy Redler, 35, of 4252 E. Loyola Dr. in Kenner was arrested on Jan. 11 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute hydrocodone, aderall, valium and soma.

•Brent West, 32, of 420 Marino St. in Norco was arrested on Jan. 13 and charged with possession of a narcotic and no turn signal.

•Christopher Allen Johnson, 21, of 401 Oak St. in St. Rose was arrested on Jan. 11 and charged with warrant for simple burglary.

•Darrell Gaines, 32, of 332 Blaire Dr. in Avondale was arrested on Jan. 12 and charged with possession of marijuana (third offense) and on three attachments.

•Karen Buziak, 43, of 185 Vans Lane in New Sarpy was arrested on Jan. 12 and charged with cruelty to juveniles and simple battery.

Theft

•A 21” air condition unit, a microwave oven, a dryer and a space heater, valued at $1220, were stolen from 426 S. Kinler St. in Boutte on Jan. 7.

•A 27” TV, a DVD player, a 42” TV, a stereo system, a Playstation 2 console, a Playstation 3 console, a diamond ring, a digital camera, two laptops and assorted medication was stolen from 291 Meadows Dr. on Jan 7.

•Assorted copper wire, valued at $1680, was stolen from from 17420 LA 48 in Montz on Jan. 7.

•A Playstation 2 game console, $50 in U.S. currency, assorted Playstation games and prescription medication were stolen from 201 Acorn St. in Boutte.

•A 2000 Nissan Altima, valued at $5,000 was stolen from 15 Elmwood Dr. in Destrehan on Jan. 7.

•A generator, valued at $800, was stolen from 724 St. Rose Ave. on Jan. 9.

•A 21” bicycle, valued at $150, was stolen from 707 Milling Ave. on Jan. 9.

•A Tri-Hull boat, a 112 HP outboard and a 1978 Skipper boat trailer, valued at $9000, were stolen from 14847 Old Spanish Trail on Jan. 9.

•An electrical charging cord for a wheelchair, valued at $200, was stolen from 100 Lance Lane #B in Luling on Jan. 10.

•A spare tire and rim, valued at $25, was stolen from 312 Goodchildren in Boutte on Jan. 13.

•A driver’s license, a credit/debit card, $5 cash and a wallet was stolen from 157 Hall St. in Luing on Jan. 12.

•A 42” flat screen TV, valued at $500, was stolen from 93 Carriage Lane Apt. A in Destrehan on Jan. 12.

•A .32 caliber revolver, valued at $200, was stolen from 109 Jim Road in Boutte on Jan. 11.
