Arrests

•Christopher Matherne, 19, of 489 Longview Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on possession of a controlled substance in the presence of a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

•Gary Matherne, 49, of 489 Longview Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on June 30 and charged with improper supervision, possession of a controlled substance in the presence of a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

•Lorena Matherne, 51, of 489 Longview Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on June 30 and charged with possession of a controlled substance in the presence of a juvenile, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and improper supervision.

•Brandon Comeaux, 24, of 410 Elizabeth Dr. in Rayne was arrested on June 27 and charged with theft under $300, buying fish without a wholesale or retail license and failure to maintain records.

•Damien Jude Daigle, 28, of 101 Elain St. in Rayne was arrested on June 27 and charged with theft under $300, buying fish without a wholesale or retail license and failure to maintain records.

•Cherylette Dewey, 21, of 1272 Meadows Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on June 27 and charged with theft by fraud on a St. Charles Sheriff’s Office warrant.

•Matthew Garcia, 20, of 104 Villere Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on June 29 and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a legend drug.

•Amaryd Downing, 22, of 207 Post St. in Killona was arrested and charged with aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal discharge of firearms, illegal carrying of weapons, violation of drug-free law zone and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

•Monica Linell Washington, 36, of 741 Adele St. in New Orleans was arrested on June 26 and charged with issuing worthless checks.

•Darrel Taylor, 59, of 415 Boutte Estates in Boutte was arrested on June 27 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a legend drug.

•Claude R. Ford. III, 25, of 111 Aqueduct Lane in Montz was arrested on June 26 and charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

•Theron Harris, 41, of 16626 Highway 90 in Des Allemands was arrested on June 27 and charged with DWI, improper lane use, suspended driver’s license and attachments out of Jefferson Parish.

•Robert Bodden, 57, of 476 Longwood Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on June 30 and charged with DWI, careless operation of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest by violence.

•Penelope Casborn Cannon, 45, of 1533 Clary Sage Loup in Round Rock, Texas was arrested on June 29 and charged with DWI and careless operation.

•Carl Evans, 21, of 320 2nd St. in St. Rose was arrested on July 2 and charged aggravated burglary and five counts of aggravated assault.

•Bruce Posey, 23, of 210 E. Louisiana St. in Hammond was arrested on June 30 and charged with theft of goods under $300, domestic abuse, battery and contempt of court.

•Mark Esteve, 47 of 12195 Troyville Road in Hammond was arrested on July 1 and charged with DWI, reckless operation and vehicular negligent injury.

•Gregory Sublett of 505 Grants Parkway in Arlington, Texas was arrested on July 1 and charged with DWI and speeding 100 mph in a 60 mph zone.

•Frank Randle, 49, of 535 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose was arrested on June 28 and charged with flight from officer, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft under $300, driving on a suspended driver’s license and on a warrant out of Jefferson Parish.

•Johnell Mott, 19, of 208 Ormond Village Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on July 1 and charged with illegal possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

•David Lee Issac, 19, of 244 Meadows Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on July 1 and charged with illegal possession of stolen firearms and on an attachment.

•Larry Banks, 18, of 253 Meadows Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on July 1 and charged with criminal conspiracy to commit first degree murder and on an outstanding attachment.

•Josuah Riley, 27, of 248 Meadows Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on July 1 and charged with criminal conspiracy to commit first degree murder, illegal possession of stolen firearms and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

•Michael Harris, 18, of 254 Meadows Dr. in Destrehan was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

•Nedra Dabney, 45, of 235 Meadows Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on July 1 and charged with possession of marijuana and three counts of possession of a controlled substance in the presence of juveniles.

•Larry Dabney, 50, of 235 Meadows Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on July 1 and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance in the presence of juveniles and on two outstanding attachments.

•Zelia Ursin-Handy, 51, of 109 Dianne Dr. in St. Rose was arrested on June 28 and charged with aggravated battery, simple arson, domestic violence act, simple arson and domestic violence battery.

Theft

•Ninety cases of cigarettes, valued at $10,000, were stolen from a trailer at 163 Riverbend Dr. in St. Rose on June 30.

•Three Playstation games, valued at $330, were stolen from 138 Frickey Lane in Des Allemands on June 30.

•A gas-powered weedeater, valued at $349, was stolen from 13244 LA 48 in Destrehan on June 30.

•A .357 caliber revolver, valued at $290, and $10 were stolen from 14485 Highway 631, Lot No. 19 in Paradis on June 30.

•$500 was stolen from 219 Killona Dr. in Killona on June 26.

•An I-Pod base, a 26” flat-screen TV, a 42” flat-screen TV and an I-Pod, valued at $1,800, were stolen from 512 South Kinler in Boutte on June 27.

•A Tandem compressor, valued at $3,448, was stolen from 125 W. James Dr., Ste. 200 in St. Rose on June 27.

•A semi-automatic firearm, valued at $300, was stolen from 358 Second St. in St. Rose on June 25.

•Insulated copper wire, valued at $2,200, was stolen from 182 Crooked R Lane in Ama on June 26.

•A bicycle, valued at $50, was stolen from 113 Evans St. in Boutte on June 29.

•A Nextel cell phone, valued at $100, was stolen from 76 Carriage Lane in Destrehan on June 29.

•A brown Coach purse, $500, a memory card and a black purse were stolen from 2322 LA 52 in Boutte.

•A 32” flat-screen TV and several pairs of earrings, valued at $650, were stolen from 109 First St. in Boutte.

•An unknown amount of money was stolen from 121 Lakewood Dr. in Luling on July 1.

•Six hundred dollars in cash was stolen from 843 Goodhope St. in Norco on July 1.

•A wallet containing a driver’s license, a debit card and a checkbook was stolen from 13001 Highway 90 in Luling on July 1.
