Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Arrests
• Felix Polkey, 23, of 351 4th Street in Luling, was arrested March 5 and charged with simple burglary. He was a fugitive.
• Derrick Williams Jr., 28, of 235 Annex Street in New Sarpy, was arrested March 5 and charged with disturbing the peace, enter/remaining after being forbidden, simple criminal damage to property and simple battery.
• Cody Morales, 27, of 308 Sellers Avenue in Luling, was arrested March 6 and charged with domestic abuse battery/strangulation.
• Corey Hammett, 34, of 114 Dogwood Drive in Luling, was arrested March 2 and charged with disturbing the peace and aggravated cruelty to animals.
• Kayla Kennon, 19, of 475 Carolyn Drive in Destrehan, was arrested March 2 and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
• Christian Blue, 24, of 172 Second Street in St. Rose, was arrested March 4 and charged with possession of firearm/carry concealed weapon, illegal carrying of weapons, possession of synthetic marijuana, resisting an officer, illegal possession of stolen firearm, theft and possession with intent counterfeit CDS. He had an attachment (two counts).
• Jalen Bickham, 26, of 106 Jane Street in St. Rose, was arrested March 5 and charged with possession of firearm/carry concealed weapon, suspended driver’s license, possession/distribution of drug paraphernalia, license plate required and possession of marijuana. He was a fugitive (four counts) and had an attachment.
• Jahiry Diggs, 19, of 1708 Osage Street in Fort Smith, Arkansas, was arrested March 6 and charged with possession of firearm/carry concealed weapon, illegal carrying of weapon, headlamps required, possession/distribution of drug paraphernalia, careless operation and possession with intent – Xanax.
