Sheriff’s Report 1-12-2017

Arrests

• Joseph Thompson, 31, 127 Cypress Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested Jan. 4 and charged with theft up to $750 and simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. He had an attachment.
• Daniel Dobbs, 31, of 13448 Hwy. 90 in Boutte, was arrested Jan. 3 and charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
• Christopher Gul, 32, of 125 Janet Drive in St. Rose, was arrested Jan. 3 and charged with distribution of marijuana. He had an attachment.
• Ronnie Greene, 24, of 1005 Estate Drive in Luling, was arrested Jan. 2 and charged with possession with intent to distribute MDMA and use of a firearm with a CDS.
• Clevon Thompson, 19, of 1016 Estay Lane in Paradis, was arrested Jan. 2 and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
• Corey Folse, 41, of 390 Magnolia Ridge Drive in Boutte, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
• Tharence White, 52, of 112 Barton Ave. in Luling, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with violation of probation/parole.
• Carol Pinner, 22, of 128 Emerald Creek in Abita Springs, was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with two counts of cyber stalking and three counts of harassing phone calls.

Incidents

• Tools and an air compressor were stolen from a home garage on River Road in Hahnville on Jan. 3.
• Tools were taken from the shed of a home on Highway 90 in Des Allemands on Jan. 3. An A.T.V. was also reported tampered with and the ignition damaged.
• A firearm was stolen from a vehicle parked on Hwy. 90 in Luling on Jan. 3.
• Two Christmas projection lights were stolen from a Longwood Drive residence in Destrehan on Dec. 30.
• A Bersa Thunder, a .380 ACP Semi Automatic Action firearm was stolen out of a vehicle parked on Clayton Drive in Norco on Dec. 30.
• A wallet containing assorted ID cards and gift cards was stolen out of a vehicle parked on Hwy. 90 in Paradis on Dec. 29.
• A Mongoose bicycle was stolen from a Barton Ave. home in Luling on Jan. 2.
• A white and blue colored Suzuki 400cc 4-wheeler was taken from a carport on Magnolia Ridge Road in Boutte on Jan. 5
• A cell phone was taken from a home on Airline Hwy. on Jan. 5.
