Sheriff’s Reports 10-16-2014

•Jonell Butler, 30, of 337 Hahnwood Place in Reserve, was arrested on Oct. 7 and charged with aggravated flight from officer, hit and run, speeding, disobeying a train crossing, illegal possession of stolen things, criminal damage to property, felony carrying illegal weapon, simple burglary, driver not licensed and as a fugitive.

•Albert Avara, 54, of 200 Newman Ave. in Jefferson, was arrested on Oct. 8 and charged with DWI and improper control of vehicle.

•Aisha Howard, 37 of 10301 Brooksfield Drive in New Orleans, was arrested on Oct. 9 and charged with exploitation of the infirm.

•Maryan Latour, 29, of 113 Mitzi Lance C in Paradis, was arrested on Oct. 9 and charged with aggravated assault.

•Pico Hernandez, of 729 Turtle Creek Lane in St. Rose, was arrested Oct. 9 and charged with theft of a motor vehicle over $500.Pico

•Pedro Raygoza, 34, of 70 Bonura Drive in St. Rose, was arrested on Oct. 7 and charged with injuring public records and false swearing.

•Natividad Alvarez, 29, of 70 Bonura Drive in St. Rose, was arrested on Oct. 7 and charged with false swearing and injuring public records.

•Stanford Jenkins, 38, of 212 Beech Grove in Reserve, was arrested on Oct. 10 and charged with possession of stolen property less than $500, resisting arrest by refusing to ID, speeding, driver’s license suspended and no insurance. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Jenkins was stopped for speeding and deputies learned that his license plate was stolen.

•Terrell Proyer, 39, of 213 Jeffer Drive in Waggaman, was arrested on Oct. 12 and charged with third-offense DWI and having a suspended driver’s license.

•Johnathen Miles, 32, of 2117 Giuffrias Ave. in Metairie, was arrested on Oct. 12 and charged with DWI, speeding and having an open alcohol container in vehicle.

Thefts

•Two fishing rods and reels were stolen from 571 Clayton Drive in Norco on Oct. 5.

• An iPhone 5S was stolen from 13001 U.S. 90 in Luling on Oct. 8.

•A 2001 Toyota Camry was stolen from 107 Oak St. in St. rose on Sept. 30.

•Assorted jewelry was stolen from 17445 Old Spanish Trail in Des Allemands on Oct. 6.

•75 crab traps valued at $2,300 were stolen from LAC Des Allemands area in Des Allemands on Oct. 9.

•A bicycle was stolen from 124 Scott St. in Paradis on Oct. 3.

•A 45/410 revolver was stolen from 12661 River Road in Luling on Oct. 4.
