Arrests
•Dennis W. Schmidt, 40, of 2302 Sunset Blvd. in Slidell, was arrested on July 5 and charged with theft over $1,500.
•Brittany R. Laurent, 23, of 132 Michael Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested on July 8 and charged with theft under $500 and seven counts of forgery.
•Bridget A. Berry, 38, of 1332 Redwood Drive in Harvey, was arrested on July 8 and charged with theft over $1,500.
•Connor R. Dennies, 18, of 518 Apple St. in Norco, was arrested on July 5 and charged with possession of Klonopin with intent to distribute, simple battery and contribution to the delinquency of a juvenile.
•Deneen F. Walker, 48, of 17469 Old Spanish Trail in Des Allemands, was arrested on July 8 and charged with possession with intent to distribute Valium.
•Daniel J. Traylor, 27, of 32 Brandon Hall Drive in Destrehan, was arrested on July 3 and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Lance M. St. Amant, 36, of 2513 Buccaneer Drive in Marrero, was arrested on July 10 and charged with DWI and as a fugitive from Gretna.
•Kalem C. Hunt, 28, of 132 Michael Drive in Bayou Gauche, was arrested on July 11 and charged with unauthorized use of a movable.
Thefts
•A Kindle HD Fire was stolen from 1952 Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan on July 8.
•Welding leads were stolen from 10425 U.S. 61 in St. Rose on July 8.
•A cell phone was stolen from 13001 U.S. 90 in Luling on July 8.
•A window air conditioning unit was stolen from 235 Post St. in Killona on July 9.
•A fire hydrant meter was stolen from the 100 block of Evangeline Road in Montz on July 10.
•Assorted hand tools were stolen from 106 First St. in Boutte on July 10.
•Four rims and tires were stolen off a vehicle located at 250 Betty Drive in Montz on July 10.
•An iPhone and case were stolen from 170 Road Runner Lane in Destrehan on July 11.
•A tractor was stolen from Beltway Drive at I-310 Service Road in St. Rose on July 11.
•A lawn mower, electric stove and TV/DVD were stolen from 618 Clayton St. in Norco on July 11.
