Howard Joseph Walker, Jr. passed away on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007 in New Orleans, LA. Beloved husband of JoAnn Estay Walker.
Son of the late Howard J. Walker, Sr. and Verlie Richoux. Father of Howard J. Walker, III and wife Mona V., Veronica ‘Vicki’ W. Lewing and husband Gary, Johanna W. Herbert. Brother of Faye W. Louque, Catherine W. Dufresne, Dianne W. Johnson and the late Walter Walker.
Also survived by former son-in-law James Hebert. Grandfather of Howard IV, Mindy, and Brittany Walker, Amber Rose Boudreaux, Kurt and Paige Hebert. Great grandfather of Faith Rose and Christina Michelle Wiltz. Pallbears will be H. J. Walker III, H.J. Walker IV, Grant Walsh, Gary Lewing, Kurt Hebert, and Paul Rousselle.
Age 71 years. A native of Norco, LA and resident of Destrehan, LA. Graduate of Destrehan High School and attended LSU, majoring in Criminal Justice. Employees of Shell Oil Co., St. Charles Sheriff’s Office, Shell Employee Club, and friends are invited to the Visitation at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco on Sunday, December 16, 2007 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Monday, December 17, 2007 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m..
Entombment will be in church Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred or donations to American Cancer Society, (1-800-ACS-2345). H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco in charge of arrangements.
