Waitus Warren Denham Sr. passed away on April 29, 2018 at the age of 82. He was a native of Kingsville, Texas, and resident of Des Allemands.
His pleasures in life included his family, especially his grandchildren, spending time with his friends, working for the airlines, fishing, camping and serving his church parish.
Denham was beloved husband of Elizabeth M. Clement Denham; father of Waitus “Dubby” W. Denham Jr. (Lori) and Marc L. Denham (Kristen). Grandfather of Lindsay D. Crump (Brenton), Taylor Denham (fiancée, Danielle), Michael Denham, Elizabeth Denham and Marie Denham; son of the late John W. Denham Sr. and Katie Nell Hawes Denham; brother of Percy E. Denham and the late John W. Denham Jr., and step-siblings, the late J.D. Denham and the late Virginia Parker Vaughan.
He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, May 5, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, 17292 LA Hwy 631, Des Allemands from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will immediately follow the visitation at 11 a.m.
