Marie L. Vicknair, 91, passed away at her son’s residence on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010.
She was a native of St. Rose and lived in New Sarpy. She is survived by one daughter, Laura Cuti, two sons, Oliver Vicknair Jr. (wife Pat) and Henry Vicknair (wife Liz), 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Vicknair Sr., parents, Henry Tramonte and Laura Neidhardt, stepmother, Inez Tramonte, one brother, Gus Tramonte, stepbrother, Walter Purcell, and son-in-law, Philip Cuti.
Funeral services were held at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco on Dec. 1 with burial following in the St. Charles Mausoleum in Destrehan.
