Theresa “Tee” Robichaux Sampey, 93, passed away on May 12, 2011.
She was a native and resident of Raceland. She is survived by her sons, Donald Lee Sampey, Louie Sampey and Allie Sampey; daughters, Gale Foret and Elaine Clement, brothers, Dennis Robichaux and Albert Robichaux, sisters, Marguerite Guidry and Alice Mae Borne, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Sampey, parents, Louis and Clotilde Mayet Robichaux, son, Errol Sampey, brother, Abby Sampey, and sisters, Mary Jane Baudoin and Celina Theriot.
Services were held on May 16 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland with burial following at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland was in charge of arrangements.
