Sylvia Gendron Boudreaux, 86, a native of Lucy and resident of Hahnville, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Hahnville, on Tuesday, October 18th from 9:15 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
Sylvia is survived by her daughters, June Billiot (Dennis) of Raceland and Paula Pizzolato (Thomas Jr.) of Luling; grandchildren, Carson Hotard (Lance), Thomas Pizzolato III and Tanner Pizzolato; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Abigail Hotard and sister, Virgil Gendron of Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis “Dad” Omer Boudreaux; parents, Jules and Lise Gendron; brothers, Floyd Gendron and Jerry Gendron.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Hahnville. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends and going to the casino.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ashton Manor/SummerHouse and Hospice Specialist of Louisiana for their care and compassion.
