We are saddened to announce the passing on of Sylvia Falgout Louviere of Paradis, LA. She was 82 years of age at the time of her passing on February 22, 2023.
Sylvia passed on surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Jessie Louviere Jr. (Joe) and her children Tasha Tappan, Debra Borey, Cheryl Foret, and Blaine Louviere. She was preceded in death by her sons: Joseph J. Louviere III (Joey) and Joseph J. Louviere IV (Jody). Sylvia is also survived by her 14 grandchildren: Kadrina Tappan, Colt Tappan, Shawn Borey, Allyssa Borey, Chantell Foret Mickal, Quinn Michael Foret II, Ashley Dawson, Blaine Louviere II, Christi Louviere, Destiny Louviere, Ian Louviere, D.J. Winkler, William Winkler, and Jacob Winkler; as well as 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Memorial arrangements are currently being prepared.
Memorial will be held on Thursday, March 9 from 2pm-4pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis, LA
