Jeanne Marie Somme’, 55, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, after a long battle with a blood infection.
Her beloved pets were with her until the end.
She is survived by her sisters, Patricia “Pat” Somme’ Hartman (Mike), Claire Somme’, Melinda Somme’ Blalock (Kenny), Mary Beth Somme’ Nolan; special niece, April Thompson Becnel and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Kenneth Somme’ and Theresa Voohries Somme’ and brother-in-law, Bradley Nolan.
A Memorial Service will be at a later date.
