George Henry Silby, 75, passed away on April 7, 2010. He is survived by two daughters, Bridget and Tiea Silby, three sons: Michael Fefie, Keoki and Dinero Silby; two brothers, James Holmes and Donald Deere, two sisters, Lena Green and Troylen Jacob, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Lee Hill, father, Troy E. Jacob and son, Wayne J. Fefie.
Immediate family were invited to a funeral service on April 15 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Burial followed in Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary, La.
