Shane “Joe” Lunk, 60, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022.
Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, on Thursday, July 21st from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial in St. Gertrude Cemetery.
Shane is survived by his fiancé, Kerrie Pizzolato; father, Roy Lunk; daughter, Kyla Lunk Dufrene (Paul); 3 grandchildren, Jayke, Kylie and Greyson Dufrene; brothers, Scott Lunk (Kelly), Chris Lunk and sister, Kelly Lunk.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Iris S. Lunk and son, Trent Michael Lunk.
Shane was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed BBQing and spending time with family. He was a sweet and loving person and was especially fond of his companion Kerrie.
In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
