James “Jack” Scholl Jr., 48, passed away on Nov. 23.
Born and raised in Marrero, La., Scholl graduated from John Ehret High School and currently resided in Des Allemands. He is the loving husband of Stephanie Ells Scholl; proud father of Brandon (Rachael) and James (Kaylynne), and caring grandfather of Jordan and Elizabeth Scholl.
Scholl is survived by his mother, Dorothy Dunford Scholl, siblings, Junior Minter, Susie Griffin, Michael Scholl, Denise Parker and Parrish Scholl along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, James Jack Scholl Sr.He was a dedicated employee of the Cajun Co. for nearly 30 years.
Scholl was an avid car enthusiast and loved being in his garage. Most of all, he lived to provide the best for his family and spending time with them. He will be remembered for his generosity and strength and will be forever missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the Memorial Visitation at Mothe Funeral Homes, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, on Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Memorial Services will follow.
