Our beautiful wife, mother and grandmother, Sandra Diane Willett passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023. Born in Bagley, Minnesota on June 28, 1940, to the late Alfred and Sara (Julin) Ellstrom. Sandra was the beloved wife of Alfred C. Willett for over 65 years. Mother to Jeff Willett (Joy), Marty Willett (Greta), Kim Boudreaux (Ricky Rousselle) and the late Scott Willett. Grandmother to Tiffany Clarkin (Kerri), Chad Boudreaux (Melissa), Lance Willett (Brittney), Michelle Willett, Randi Willett, Ginger Fonda (Bret Penison), and Marcy Willett (Jeff Penick). Great Grandmother to Maci, Sylas, and Hope. Step-Grandmother to Dawn (Kelly), Ricky (Amy), Heather (Stephen), Christie (Tim). Step-Great Grandmother to Peyton, Grant, Stephen II, Gabrielle, Dawson, Jaden, Hudson, Desmond, and Kolsen.
She was a resident of Hahnville for 22 years, moved to Sun City West, Arizona for 25 years and has been a resident in Destrehan for the last 3 years. Sandra will be remembered for her love of dancing, while living in Sun City West, Arizona she was a Golden Grannie for the Phoenix Suns, loved to perform with the Mariachi band, and danced with her pom pom group in numerous parades. She will be greatly missed by family and friends who were blessed to know her, if you met her, you were family.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
