Clinton P. “Pony” Roux Jr., a native and resident of Luling, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 19.
Visitation was held Tuesday morning, Feb. 24 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Luling. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated the same day, followed by interment.
He is survived by his sons, Danny, Clinton III and Jimmy Roux, daughter, Donna Orgeron, daughter-in-laws,; Gale and Sherry,; son-in-law, Gerald; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Landry Roux,; parents, Clinton and Andrea Roux, sisters,; Dorothy St. Amant, Lillian Lirette and half-sister, Hilda Nixon.
Pony retired from Monsanto Chemical Company after 31 years of service. He was a former member of the United States Marine Corps. and a member of the VFW.
