Ronald Paul Gaubert, 59, passed away on May 3, 2011 at his home in Prairieville. He was a mechanical schedule/planner with Dupont. He was a United States Air Force Reserve veteran who served in the Vietnam War.
He was the husband of Cynthia Gaubert, father of Brad J. Gaubert (wife Heather) and Bryan P. Gaubert (wife Wanda), son of Doris Louque Mayeux, brother of Glen (wife Judy) and Alvin “Chris” Gaubert, brother-in-law of Beverly and Lennie Dufrene, stepson of Bernie Mayeux, son-in-law of Boyd Weldon Campbell, and grandfather of Lainey Adysson, Londyn Rae and Anna Katherine Gaubert. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Joseph Gaubert, and mother-in-law, Dorthy Gross Campbell.
He was an online monitor and judged pictures of wildlife in the natural environment. Services were held on May 6 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan with Fr. Harry Bugler officiating. Military honors followed in the church mausoleum.
