Richard Lane Foster, 75, a native of Taft and a resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Aug. 22, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, Aug. 25 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday with burial to follow in Des Allemands Mennonite Cemetery.
Loving father of Angela Brien (Wayne), Denise Matherne (Audie), Amie Knuppel (Don), Renee’ Ricks (Keith); grandfather of Stacey Noel, Heather Brien, Amber, Amanda and Autumn Matherne, Don “D.J.”, Ricky and Taylor Knuppel, Samantha Horn, Michael Decuers, Brian and Sean Ricks; great grandfather of Kye and Kynleigh Knuppel; brother of Stanley Foster and Ernest Cortez III.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Adeline Granier Foster; father, Stanley Foster; mother, Beulah Cortez and step father, Ernest Cortez, Jr. and brother, Lane Foster.
