Lucy Aucoin Ramsey, 71, lost her battle to cancer on July 29.
The daughter of Irene C. Aucoin and the late Murphy J. Aucoin (Mike). Sister to Michael J. Aucoin, Betty A. Cortez, and the late Jimmy J. Aucoin, Doris A. Tait and Rosemary A. Fonseca.
Mother to three beautiful children, Donald W. Powell Jr., Sherie P. Chandler and Jay P. Powell. Grandmother to four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was a native of Des Allemands and a resident of New Hill, N.C. for over 30 years.
The love of her life and husband Claude Ramsey followed her home just three days later on Aug. 1 also losing his battle to cancer.
