Eve L. Pollet entered into eternal life on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 at 1:39 p.m. at her home in New Sarpy surrounded by loving family and friends.
Beloved mother of Lionel (L.J.) Pollet Sr. and wife Angela Murray Pollet of New Sarpy, Ferrin Pollet of New Sarpy, and Terrie Pollet and Robert Witt of Hot Springs, AR.
Grandmother of Lionel Jr., Kayla and Joshua Pollet, Michael and Phillip Pollet and Anna George. Sister of Leona L. Loupe and husband Kermit Loupe Sr. of Edgard, LA and Patrick Landry and wife Charlotte Landry of Leavenworth, KS. Sister-in-law of Avis Landry of Norco, LA, Doris Rizzuto of Harahan, LA, and dear friend Alda Hubbard of New Sarpy, LA. Eve is also survived by host of nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Guy Pollet Jr., daughters Laurie A. Pollet and Paula A. Pollet, parents Lionel and Odelia Weber Landry, brother Jeril Landry, Louis (Billy) Landry and Lionel Landry Jr. Eve was 70-years-old, and a member of St Matthias Neo-Chatecumenate Community and a long time employee of the Destrehan Postal Service.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend the visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Friday, Dec. 21, 2007 from 7 p.m. till Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 22, 2007. Conducted by Father John Cisewski. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of choice. H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
