Marie Zeringue Poche passed away on Friday, August 23.
She was the loving wife of 68 years of Herbert Poche; mother of Rodney Poche (Betty), Jerry Poche (Lori), Patti Bergeron (George), Joanne Matherne (Bucky), Carl Poche (Pat) and Lena Barre (Kyle). She is also survived by a sister, Ester Detillier, 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two great grandchildren and five siblings, as well as her parents, Henry and Olive Zeringue.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church in Ama on Monday, Aug. 26. Interment was in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. Westside Leizt-Eagan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
