Kirk “Big Kirk” Paul Pfister Sr., 49, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24 while fishing in Des Allemands. He was a commercial fisherman for most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Adams, sons, Kirk Pfister, Jr. (Amy), Kris Pfister Sr. (Kristy), Kevin Pfister Sr.(Stephanie), Keith Pfister (Julie) and step-son William Adams (Kellie). Also survived by daughters, Jessica and Savanna Pfister, step-daughter Krystal Maggard (Steven), brother, Kent Pfister Sr. (Debra) and thirteen grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, MaryAnn Barraco and Urvin Pfister Jr. and grandson, Hunter Pfister. Visitation was held on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in St. Rose.
