DeJean
Melvin A. DeJean entered peacefully into eternal rest at River Regions Hospice House on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 after a lengthy battle with cancer for the past 10 years. He was 92 years old. He was a native of Lutcher and a former resident of Norco, La. for 63 years. He was the husband of the late Inez Simon DeJean by first marriage and the late Grace DeJean by second marriage. Father and father-in-law of Patricia DeJean Costa, Mel and Carolyn W. DeJea and Dennis and Martin DeJean. Brother of Ethel DeJean Hayes and the late George, Percy, Dudley, Elwood, Roy and Harry DeJean and Gloria DeJean Brignac and Shirley DeJean Knott. He was the son of the late George and Virginia Duhe DeJean. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 30 great great grandchildren. Melvin was a retiree of Shell Oil Company in Norco. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend funeral services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on May 13, 2006 at 11 a.m. Entombment at St. Peter Catholic Church Cemetery, Reserve, La., along side his beloved wife Inez. H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco in charge of arrangements.

Caire
Henry Francis Anthony Caire of Luling, La., on Monday, May 8, 2006 at 4:25 a.m. Beloved husband of Geraldine Simon Caire. Father of Tommy Caire, Joan Caire Bouvier, Donna Caire Matheny and the late Daniel Henry Caire. Brother of Martha Hymel, James Caire, Joseph Caire, Edward Caire and Roland Caire, Sr. Father in law of Fay Caire, Ricky Bouvier and Dennis Matheny. Son of the late James Caire and Henrietta Webre Caire. Grandfather of Rebecca Caire, Matthew Caire, Jason Brown, Jordan Brown and the late Daniel Thomas Caire. Great Grandfather of Jilian Brown. Mr. Caire was the owner of HFC Enterprises and was named by the Archdiocese of New Orleans to head the building of the original Holy Family Catholic Church in 1978. He received the Order of St. Louis Medal. Mr. Caire was instrumental in the building fo the new Holy Family Catholic Church dedicated by the Archdiocese in 2001. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling, Louisiana. Interment in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, Louisiana. Visitation was on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 from 9 a.m. until noon at Holy Family Catholic Church. Westside/Leitz Eagan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Rensberger
Mack A. Rensberger, on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 10:45 p.m. in New Orleans, La. Beloved husband of Janella Meyer Rensberger and the late Dorothy Peyregne Rensberger by first marriage. Father of Gloria Jane Rensberger and Susan Rensberger. Stepfather of J. Adam Gaye III and Sommer Gaye. Son of the late Jack Rensberger and Jean Rensberger Dutelle Gillespie. Half brother of the late Orville Waterman and Howard Waterman. A native and resident of Paradis, La. Age 84 years. He was a member of Shell Chemical Retiree’s Division. He served many years on the St. Charles Association for Retarded Citizens Board. he was a WWII and Korean Army Veteran, where he served at 1st Lt. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend Funeral Services at Falgout Funeral Home, 3838 Highway 1, Raceland, La., on May 13, 2006 at noon. Interment Bedico Community Cemetery, Bedico, La. Visitation from 9 a.m until Funeral time on May 13. Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.

Comardelle
Errol John Comardelle, on Friday, May 12, 2006 at 4:17 a.m. in Houma, La. Beloved husband of Shirley Dufrene Camardelle. Father of Kenton James Camardelle, Anthony David Camardelle and Jerralyn Marie Manuel. Son of Virginia Matherne Camardelle and the late Exo Comardelle. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. A native and resident of Bayou Gauche, La. Age 58 years. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend funeral services. Religious services at Life Fellowship Community Chruch, Bayou Gauche, La., on May 16, 2006. Interment Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche, La. Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.

Matherne
Louis A. Matherne, on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at 10:05 p.m. in Luling, La. Beloved son of the late Arthur Matherne Sr., and Elnora Matherne. Brother of Freddie Matherne, Arthur Matherne, Jr., Lula Riviere, Juanita Gallaway, Tillie Clark and the late Henrietta Matherne. A native and resident of Bayou Gauche. Age 69 years. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend funeral services at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, La. on May 17, 2006. Interment Holy Savior Cemetery.
