Patsy Price Soudelier Rousse
Passed away on Feb. 28 in Paradis. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Soudelier, Sr. by first marriage and the late Carlton Rousse by second marriage. Mother of Lloyd Jr., Wayne, Todd Soudelier, Sandra Withers and Tammy Soudelier. Daughter of the Late Melvin and Lena Matis Price. Sister of the late Melvin “Leroy” Price. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A native of Des Allemands and a resident of Paradis. She was 62 years old.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis on Friday March 2 at 3:00pm. Visitation from 11:00am until funeral time Friday at the church. Falgout Funeral Homes.
Christine Cochran Carter
Christine Cochran Carter, age 86, a resident of Hahnville for the past 7 years. Born in Wayne County, Mississippi and a native of Laurel Mississippi also a former resident in Brandon Mississippi. She entered into eternal rest on Feb. 28 at 1:00pm. Beloved wife of Hallie Mallard Carter, loving mother of Terry L. Carter, Sr. of Hahnville and the late Crystal Carter Dunagin of Brandon MS. Four grandchildren, Terry L. Carter, Jr. and Tracy Carter Carman, Jeff and Lauren Dunagin. Three great grandchildren Kortney Carter, Hayley and Hayden Carman. Three step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Cola Lee and Ras Cochran sister of Belena Windham and the late brother, Hilbrun Cochran.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 3100 Audubon Drive, Laurel Mississippi
Visitation was on March 3 from 3-5 pm. Funeral services Sunday March 4 at 2pm, interment in Memorial Garden Cemetery.
WALTER FAUCHEUX, JR.
Walter “Bunny” Faucheux, Jr. passed away on March 4 at East Jefferson hospital at the age of 74. He was the beloved husband of Betty Andry Faucheux. Loving father of Bobby, Barry, Billy, and Benny Faucheux. Brother of Nettie Faucheux. Grandfather of Dustin, Brad, Travis, Kaylie, Tanner, Nicole, Brandie, Brennan and Logan Faucheux. He will be missed by daughters-in-law and numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by parents Walter and Mable Faucheux and sister Joyce Faucheux. He was a native of Good Hope and a resident of Destrehan.
Services were held March 7, 2007 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with interment in the church mausoleum.
