Norbert Bruce, 85 a native of Cut Off, La. and resident of Larose, La. passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 10:00am until 12:00 noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon with burial in the church cemetery.
Norbert is survived by his children; Kevin (Penny) Bruce, Mickey (Melanie) Bruce and Robin (Linton) Bruce Cheramie, grandchildren; Zackary (Jada), Thomas (Brittany), Joshua, Amber, Jorden, Jace (Amy), and Travis (Jenifer), great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Charlotte, Noah, Brody, Joseph, Bonnie, Madeline, Brynlee, Nicholas, Benjamin, Breanna, Chandler, Alex, and Kenneth.
Norbert was preceded in death by his wife; Angela “LaLa” Terrebonne Bruce, companion; Rema Guidry, parents; Octave, Sr. and Amy Vegas Bruce, brothers: Eura Bruce, Sr. and Octave Bruce, Jr.
Norbert was an owner operator of Western Auto for 20+ years.
Norbert loved the outdoors, fishing, and dancing. In his later years his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his everything.
