Paula Ann Nazio, age 40, passed away on Jan. 17, 2009 at 9:06 a.m. Native and resident of Paradis. Visitation was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Friday, Jan. 23 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Cemetery.
Survived by fiance Wayne LeFleur; father Hypolite B. Nazio, Sr. and wife Judy; daughters Angela Tran and Cheyanne Dubea; brothers Hypolite B. Nazio, Jr., and fiancee Brandy; step-brothers Jason Ledet and wife Jenny, Jeremy Figaro and wife Shauna; sisters Frances Boudreaux and husband Billy, Anna Dunn, Laura Ferguson and husband Simon, Betty Nazio, Joann LeBoeuf and husband Troy. Preceded in death by mother Ida Mae Bergeron Nazio.
Paula was a practicing Catholic at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Parades. Her hobbies were shopping, working and going to the camp and boat riding. Paula will remembered by many as a former server at Sal’s Restaurant in Boutte and as a current server at Sailfish Restaurant in Luling. Samart-Mothe Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
