Joyce Ann Naquin Matherne, 69, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Bayou Gauche, passed away on Saturday, March 1.
Visitation was Thursday, March 6 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with burial following in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.
She is survived by her husband, Curlis J. Matherne; son, Randy J. Matherne and wife Terrie; daughters, Melanie Ayo and husband Zane, Amy Matherne and companion Ervin; and grandchildren, Payton, Clay and Julia Matherne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertrand and Odile Bourgeois Naquin; brothers, Edward, Robert, Leroy Naquin and sister Florence “Tookie” Naquin Thibodaux.
Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
