Mable Breaux Martin passed away on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009 in Luling. Beloved wife of the late Patrick H. Martin, Sr.
Mother of Patsy Martin Brown and husband, Roland L. Brown, Mary Ann Martin Gassen and husband, Lucien C. Gassen, Linda Martin Zeringue and husband, the late David “Whip” J. Zeringue, Diane Martin Beard and husband, the late James E. Beard, Jr. and the late Patrick H. Martin, Jr. Daughter of the late Emile Breaux, Sr. and Eslie Breaux.
Sister of Janella Breaux Becnel Smith, Elizabeth Breaux Presten-bach, the late Emile Breaux, Jr., Agnes Breaux Naquin Collins and Marie Louise Breaux Morales. Also survived by nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchlidren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. A native of Napoleonville and a resident of Luling. Age 91 years. She was the former owner of Mable’s Beauty Salon. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Luling. Visitation from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at the Church. Falgout Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
