Marion Trauth Bergeron, 91, a native of Boutte and Paradis and resident of Des Allemands, died on Aug. 26, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Freddie Bergeron (wife Barbara), Ray Bergeron (wife Jackie), Donald Bergeron (wife Iris); daughters, Sylvia Bertrand (husband Joseph) and Wanda Bergeron (husband Jack), brothers, Leo Trauth and Lester Trauth, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Alex J. Bergeron, parents, Joseph and Emma Dash Trauth, son, Wallace “Buddy” Bergeron, brother, Cyril Trauth, and sister, Emma T. LeBlanc.
Services were held at Mennonite Church in Des Allemands on Aug. 30 with burial in the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
