Lillian S. Dufrene, 98 a native and resident of Des Allemands, La. passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30am with burial at St. Gertrude Catholic Cemetery.
Lillian is survived by her children; Judith Aucoin, Norman, Jr. (Gail) Dufrene, Paulette (Pete) Verdin, Melba (Mark) Richard, Dennis (Ann) Dufrene, Glenda (Joe) Bordelon, and Jeanell (Ramey) Arceneaux, 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren step-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and brother; John Schaubhut.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband; Norman J. Dufrene, Sr., parents; Arthur, Sr. and Rose Christen Schaubhut, siblings; Elwyn Schaubhut, Merlin Schaubhut, Sr., Vivian Rogers, Rita Matherne, and Arthur Schaubhut, Jr., son-in-law; Davis Aucoin, Sr., and Godchild; Marylane Schaubhut.
