Henry Lewis, 71, on Sunday, Nov. 20, at St. Charles Parish Hospital, Luling.
He is the son of the late Florence Johnson and Cosey Lewis Sr.; husband of Olevia Stipe Lewis; father of Roderick (Desiree) and Reginald Lewis (Doreen); stepfather of the late Vernell Stipe Brother of Hasten Lewis Sr., Kenneth Lumar, Marlis Lewis, the late Cosey Lewis Jr., Donald “Duckie” Lumar and Mary Wyre.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Lewis was a native of Edgard and resident of Killona.Funeral service was held at Greater New St. Peter Baptist Church, 200 West 3rd Street, Edgard, on Nov. 26 with burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, Edgard.
