Bart Dufrene Jr., 35, a native and resident of Bayou Gauche, went home to be with our loving Lord, on Monday, Nov. 28.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche.
Dufrene is survived by his wife Kyla Lunk Dufrene; sons, Jayke Dufrene, Greyson Dufrene; daughter, Kylie Dufrene; parents, Bart Dufrene, Sr. (Joanne); Sarah Abadie (Robert); sister, Megan Dufrene Loupe (Ryan); grandparents, Dolores Isken, Allen and Jeanne Dufrene.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry P. Zeringue, and great-grandmother, Sarah Wheeler.Bart loved hunting, outdoors and was a member of NHRA Drag Racing.
