Betty Gros LeBlanc

Betty Gros LeBlanc, 74, was called home to her Lord and Savior on April 27, 2017.

LeBlanc was the beloved wife of Louis LeBlanc; loving mother of Tanya Street (Dennis), Tressa Tanner (Larry), Tyra Caylor (Jay) and Luke LeBlanc (Ann); grandmother of David (Lori), Rebekah (Brant), Kalin (Anthony), Ryan, Brennan, Jamie and Abby. Great-grandmother of Alexander, Raegan, Jacob, Layla, Luke, Peyton, Caroline, Avery and Ella; daughter of Annie Guillot Gros and the late Eddie Gros Sr. Sister of Alvin Gros Sr. (Sue), Elsie Gros, Jimmy Gros (Jan), the late Linda Gros, Eddie “Thomas” Gros Jr. (Carrie) and Floyd Gros (the late JoAnn).

The family would like to acknowledge her dear friend Sadie Mayeux for her loving care and support.

She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.Betty was a longtime member of Westwego Assembly of God where she taught Sunday School and worked in several Church ministries including the children’s programs and the food bank.

She retired as a cosmetologist and devoted her time to her loving family.

Betty was a talented cook and baker, and enjoyed gardening and sewing.

As a devout Christian she devoted her life to the giving of herself to others and did so, even in death, as a donor. She will be sadly missed but her life and legacy will be celebrated.
