John Robert King passed away on December 27, 2022 at the age of 76. He was born in Stonewall, Mississippi to the late Lonnie King, Sr. and Bobbie Beatrice Denton King. Devoted husband 30 years to Patricia Joiner King. Loving father of Steven Robert King (Lisa), David Wayne King (Rochell), Rachel Lynn Perez (Shayne) and Jeremy O’Neil Falcon (Kim). Proud grandfather of Derrick (Angela), Jeremy, Danielle (Cody), Shayne (Erika), Kaylemn, Elizabeth and Addielyn and great-grandfather of Zachary, Kosta, Steven, Kingsley and Shayne, III. Brother of Annie Kate King Moore (Ben) and the late Lonnie Green King, Jr, Grady Marion King, William Ray King, James Roy King, Helen Pearl King Fosche and Bobbie Sheron King Reid. John is also survived by other extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00.
