James Rowland McWilliams, 80, passed away on March 3, 2012. He was a native of El Dorado, Ariz. and a longtime resident of Luling.
He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired after 30 years from Monsanto Chemical Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Luling. He was the beloved husband of Coylene B. “Connie” McWilliams, father of Kelley R. McWilliams (Greer) and John Scott McWilliams (Christine), son of the late Kelley and Mae Estelle Bivens McWilliams, brother of George G. McWilliams (Katie) and the late Bobbie McWilliams Bowen, grandfather of Jamie Lynn, Stephen Coyle and Kolby James McWilliams, and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Luling on March 7 with interment in the St. Charles Cemetery of Luling. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. To sign the guest book, visit www.muhleisen.com.
