Elrita S. Howe, 89, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
Elrita was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Howe Sr. She was the loving mother of George R. Howe Jr. (Harriet), Susan Keller (Denis), and Ruth Alleman (Peter), and the grandmother of William Keller (Heather), David Keller, Cheryl Alleman, and Steven Alleman (fiancée Nichole Stumpf), and the great grandmother of Maggie and Grant Keller. She was a native of Abbeville and a resident of Luling and most recently of Broussard. She was a past matron and a member of the Encircler Chapter 191 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
