Bernice Schexnaydre Hebert, 82, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 3:30 a.m.
She was a life-long resident of Destrehan and the beloved wife of Wilfred Joseph Hebert; loving mother of Donald Hebert (Marsha), Eric Hebert (Sandra), Edwin Hebert (Paula), and the late Kenneth Hebert; sister of Gilbert Schexnaydre, the late Thelma Roussell, Septime and Lawrence Schexnaydre; grandmother of Annette, Amanda, Jason and the late Brandy; great-grandmother of Justin, Ashley, Allie, Jonathan, Ryan, Paige, Lauren and Jordan.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend a visitation at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco on April 19 and at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan on April 20. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated with interment following at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.
